About Food & Hospitality Queensland
Food & Hospitality Queensland 2026 runs 12-13 October at BCEC. The show aims to be the state’s most influential platform for the food and hospitality industry to connect, showcase, and grow.
There’s never been a better time to do business in Queensland. This state isn’t just growing – it’s booming. Queensland is now the epicentre of opportunity for Australia’s hospitality, foodservice and food-to-go sector.
Who can attend?
Food & Hospitality Queensland is built for professionals across the entire foodservice spectrum – from restaurants, cafes, and caterers to distributors, wholesalers, and food manufacturers. The event also serves those working in contract and institutional catering, including aged care, healthcare, education, defence, and corporate environments.
Please note: Entry is restricted to industry professionals aged 16 and over. Children under 2 are permitted if securely fastened in a pram or carrier at all times.

Will I need to bring identification with me?
Yes. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or the entrance.
You may be required to present necessary trade credentials (listed below):
• Business Registration Certificate • ABN registration form/certificate • ABN printed on a company letterhead or business card • Letter on company letterhead confirming your employment by the owner/director • Business Card
Do I need to pre-register for seminars?
No need to pre-register – all seminars and sessions on the show floor are included with your ticket. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early to secure your spot. The Aged Care Catering Summit requires a separate ticket.
What is the dress code?
Dress attire to the event is Business or Smart Casual with appropriate footwear. No thongs allowed
Do I need a visa for Australia?
Most international visitors will require a Visa to enter Australia. Applications need to be made well in advance at the Australian Consulate in your own country or in some cases can be made online. It is not our company’s policy to provide invitation letters to visitors wishing to attend our shows. For more information on applying for a Visa visit the Department of Immigration website.
